Transportation
Beacon is 60 miles and 90 minutes by car from New York City. Driving is recommended. Alternatively, you can take the Metro North from Grand Central to Beacon using the Poughkeepsie line (every hour). For those coming by train, we have notified the local cab company of the wedding (however note that they are not the most reliable), as there are few Uber and Lyft drivers in the area.
If you are planning on staying the night, from the venue the Roundhouse hotel is about a 10 minute walk, and from the dutchess inn it is a 25 minute walk (mostly down main street).
